Welcome to the ÖH of the Karl Landsteiner University for Health Sciences (KL).
The ÖH of the Karl Landsteiner Private University for Health Sciences (ÖH KL) is the official representation of all students of the KL and their connection to the lecturers, the administration, the rectorate as well as the management. In addition, the ÖH KL offers advice on legal, social and financial matters for all students.

Student representation
The ÖH KL consists of students who are democratically elected and work on a voluntary basis at various levels of student representation. All students are more than welcome to actively participate in the process of representing their interests.

Austrian Student Union (ÖH)
The Austrian National Union of Students (ÖH) is a public corporation and thus the legal representation of interests of all students at Austrian universities. All students are obligated members of the ÖH. As a student interest group, the ÖH has the right to review the drafting of laws. This results in a right of co-determination and the possibility to influence all regulations concerning studies. In addition, the ÖH sends student representatives to various university and college committees, ministerial commissions and other institutions.

Insurance cover now also for students at private universities
Since 1 October 2014, students at private universities have been members of the ÖH and are therefore covered by the ÖH's student insurance for accidents and liability.
