Maps and directions

Krems is easily accessible by car and train, and from nearby airports. You can find details of how to reach Campus Krems below.

By car

From Vienna, take the A22 motorway and then the S5 to Krems.
From the A1 motorway by St. Pölten, take the Melk/Krems Zentrum/Wachau turnoff and follow the S33 to Krems.
From the A1 motorway by Melk, take the B3 to Krems.
When you reach Krems, follow the B3 towards Melk/Spitz/Wachau.
At the fork in the road, keep left and follow the signs for Stein/Spitz/Wachau.
At the two large roundabouts, follow the green Campus Krems signs.

By air

Vienna International Airport (for airport transfers, visit www.airportservice.at)
From Vienna International Airport take the A4 motorway towards Vienna.
At the Prater junction (Knoten Prater) take the A22 motorway towards Prague.
Continue along the A22, turn onto the S5 at the Stockerau junction (Knoten Stockerau) towards Krems/St.Pölten/Tulln, and continue on the S5 to Krems (approximately 100km).

By train

The journey from Vienna Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof to Krems takes about one hour.
Travelling time from St. Pölten to Krems is 30–40 minutes.

There is a regular bus service between the campus and the city centre.

A taxi from campus to Krems central station takes about three minutes.

Reasonably priced parking is available in the Campus Krems underground car park, and additional parking can be found close to Kunstmeile Krems and the boat terminal (Schifffahrtsstation).
